#NoDistraction
In 2019 an Instagram post about the History Channel’s “Jesus” miniseries was shared by Roland S. Martin. It generated numerous comments π― from his followers, some of which were racist π and filled with bigotry π€.Β We commented, π¬ stating that (since no one currently alive has seen Jesus Christ, except perhaps in visions/dreams π€ π΄π) the issue of whether He is white β» or black βΌ is contentious π£π₯, on-going, never-ending, and divisive β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ’βοΈ.
It is used by the evil one πΉ as a distraction π€ blinding π many to God’s (Jah’s) great love β₯οΈ (John 3:16) for mankind πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ and His remedy of sending Jesus to die as a sacrifice π for our sins π« to redeem/reconcile π us back into fellowship π€ with Him: He is holy π so blood π€ β¦οΈπποΈπ ΎοΈ and death β β° π© were required.
Do we believe that many images π·πΊπ»π½π¬ of Jesus incorrectly depict Him as a caucasian european male? Yes; however, many middle eastern π«πͺ Jews are dark, light, and mixed in color. CCCM will not be distracted! π― We will not engage in this debate π£. We will share the gospel of Jesus as commissioned in Mark 16:15 and trust the LORD GOD (MOST HIGH) to settle this questionβοΈ when we stand before His throne.
